The in-email review collection form is a handy feature which lets your customers write their reviews without leaving their email client. Here’s how to set it up.
Navigate your way to the Invitations >> Create/Edit Invitation Template screen
On the right hand side of the page you have the option to create a new email template. Choose “Create Simple” from the options in order to open the WYSIWYG email editor.
Once the editor opens, you’ll be presented with a preview of your current email. From the list on the right hand side of the page, choose “In-Email Form” from the “Collection Style” list.
You can now amend the email as you usually would. The page updates to show a live preview of your email automatically.
Something to note
We’ve implemented this feature as a result of customer feedback. However, it’s important to note that in-email forms are rather unpredictable by their nature, and there is no single standard for email clients to adhere to. It’s possible, therefore, that the in-email form may not display correctly in certain web clients. As such, we’ll always display the following warning when you choose to implement this option.
We recommend using the “Write a Review” button or giving your customers the option to tap on a star rating. These are the preferred methods for maximising your review conversions and ensuring a great user experience for your customers.
